Nutan was an Indian Actress and Singer. Nutan’s birth name was Nutan Samarth and after getting married her name became Nutan Bahl. She began her film career as a child actress by the film Hamari Beti, which was released in 1950. This film was directed by her mother.
Her first film as an actress was Shabab which was released in 1955. She then went on to make many super hit films of more than 70 and became one of the best actresses in the Indian film industry in her 4-decade career.
Nutan Death
In the year 1991, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for treatment of Breast Cancer. But he could not be saved and died. In those days she was making films ‘Gargana’ and ‘Humanity’. Her last film was ‘Naseebwala’, which was released in 1992 after her death.
The Government of India issued a stamp in her name in 2011.
