Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is an Indian politician and agriculturist. He was a member of the Lok Sabha and national vice president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
On 10 September 2020, he resigned from all posts of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and wrote a letter to Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Raghuvansh went into central politics for the first time by winning the Lok Sabha elections in 1996. Also won for the second and third time in 1998 and 1999.
Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was the Minister of Rural Development in UPA-1 and he is considered to be the real architect of MNREGA law.

Former Union Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh died on 13 September 2020 at the age of 74. His condition deteriorated two days ago. He breathed his last in the ICU ward of AIIMS, Delhi on Sunday morning.
He was put on ventilator support after having trouble breathing. Earlier, he was treated at AIIMS in Patna when he was Corona positive.
