Raghubar Das Wikipedia
Raghubar Das is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). All the tribals who became chief ministers before him in Jharkhand were tribals. But Raghubar Das became the first non-tribal Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
He is one of the very old members of BJP if you say that he is one of the founding members of BJP. He joined the Janata Party in 1977. When the Janata Party was renamed as Bharatiya Janata Party in 1980, he became the National Secretary of the BJP.
In 2005, Raghubar Das was made the state president of BJP’s Jharkhand.
On 23 December 2019, Jharkhand lost its seat in the assembly elections.
